Apples are my favourites when it comes to baking with fruit. They make all cakes taste good. This cake with apples is tasty. The apples are Granny smith cause of their sharp taste.
The measurments are those we use in Sweden.
100 grams butter
2 decilitres sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 egg
4 decilitres wheat fluor
1,5 decilitres milk
Mix the room temperature butter with the sugar. An electric whisk makes it easier. Add the baking powder, the egg, the flour and the milk and whisk.
The apples.
Peel 2-3 apples and cut them in pieces. Mix them with sugar and cinnamon. The recepy says 2 tablespoons of sugar and 0,5 tablespoon of cinnamon although I just put in the amount I think will be suitable.
Stick the apples in the batter. Bake at 175 C for 45 minutes on the bottom half of the oven.
